Sad case of a rare genetic disorder leukodystrophy looking for donars

Did anyone see this sad case of leukodystrophy, apparently it affects only  1 in 500,000 but this family is struck with 2 how can this happen is there possible cause in the families genes does anyone know plus if anyone know of any donars do let them know
