Is there any way of reversing environmental pollution effects

I heard that the ozone damage has reached a record high is there any thing we can do to reverse theese effect or is it too late.

well i guess simple things like growing more trees avoiding cfcs finding alternative energy can help.

I think planting more trees is the best, i guess the use of cfc etc will be the best but it will take year to get fixed.
